How to get to Sarti

 

The nearest large city to Sarti is the city of Thessaloniki. You can fly to Thessaloniki from any one of several large European cities. Sarti is located on the middle peninsula of Halkidiki, about a two-hour drive from the Thessaloniki airport. Distance from Thessaloniki Airport: 130km
You may rent a car at the airport and drive to Sarti, or if you prefer not to drive in a foreign country, we will be glad to organize your pickup from Thessaloniki’s airport to Sarti and back since we cooperate with several taxi companies. Just contact us.

 

One- way transportation by taxi or minivan costs approx. 100 up to 150 Euros for a group of two up to four or five people.
You may rent a car in Sarti as well but is always better to arrange it before arrival since in pick season there in not comfortable availability.
There is also transportation by local bus (KTEL). Sarti is located on the east coast of the middle peninsula of Halkidiki and with local bus you will have a three and a half hours bus ride. For further info as routes and fees please click here.

 

Directions from Thessaloniki to Sarti:

When you leave the airport, continue straight, through a traffic light, following the signs to Halkidiki. This road feeds onto the road to Halkidiki. When you reach Nea Moudania, follow the signs to Sithonia (if you miss this exit you will find yourself on the way to Kassandra and must turn around!). Continue this road, following the signs to Nikiti - Ag. Nikolaos - Vourvourou and then to Sarti (avoid taking the route from N.Marmaras, this route is one hour longer).
Be careful of the speed limit on the road, there are usually busy and there are many road traffic controls.
